Fundraising Family Walking Event in Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest

Date: 19th October 2019

We had an amazing time at our first cycle fundraising event on the 29th September 2018 where we raised an incredible £1,130!

This year’s event is supporting our continuing work in Malawi and the UK and to help promote the “Miles2Malawi” project.

This year has seen the construction of the new adult free healthcare clinic and the first classroom for a new primary school.  We also hope to start a programme for disabled children to assist them in education and health.  As the work grows the need for more funds is a reality and we thank God that He has provided the financial resources to enable this work to continue.

Starfish is proud to continue their partnership with Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, which began in 2017 when the charity was involved with their ‘Save Our Cedar’ project, which aimed to help save the critically endangered Mulanje Cedar, Malawi’s national tree.

By joining us for our family walk in October you can make a difference, through the funds you raise, to the lives of the children and their communities in Malawi.
