23 teachers are excitedly planning to travel to Malawi to visit their linked schools in Malawi in October, representing 12 schools: Brunswick House, Benenden, Lady Royd, Bradford Girls Grammar, Biggin Hill, Cranbrook, St Mary's Hartfield, Weald, St Johns Meads, Holy Trinity Northwood, Valley Park and Hurst Green. Some others are still awaiting British Council funding. At least 7 Malawian  teachers will be travelling to the UK in March 2012.

Lynette Stander will be travelling from South Africa to introduce Bible Explorer into Malawi in October.

Soapbox have just finished building the School Office at Chitiwiri, funded by Hurst Green.

Petrol shortages in Malawi have led to demonstrations in Malawi. Salima and Kasungu have largely escaped trouble.
