This is a report from the recent visit to Malawi from one of the teachers at High Weald Academy.
"Overall I delivered 397 pairs of pants, about 10 kilos of stationery and 135 mosquito nets to the most needy people in our link school and at the local orphanage.
As the children said, they were so grateful for the chance to avoid malaria. They know how to prevent this disease but money has always stood in the way of them remaining free from malaria. Hopefully the number of cases will now drop at Salima Secondary School.
The children and staff at the orphanage were very happy with their new underwear. It is so rare for them to receive something that is brand new and they were slightly overwhelmed."
