Every step we take brings us closer together.

The Berlin Marathon - 25th September 2016

Ben Cleaver (Starfish Malawi supporter and volunteer) came to us last year with a great idea to support our work.

After just running the New York Marathon, he decided to set himself a new fundraising challenge, and has gathered together a group of friends based in America to run the world famous BMW Berlin Marathon for Starfish Malawi in September 2016.

Berlin 2016 - The thrill of the RACE...

Nine world records have been set along the notoriously flat route of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, and the world’s most elite athletes come back time and time again to run this incredibly fast course.

The race starts and finishes at the iconic Brandenburg Gate, before passing a whole host of fascinating landmarks along the way, including the Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, and the Berlin Cathedral.

Ben and his team will be sharing the course with over 40,000 other runners, as well as over a million spectators lining the route.

Thanks again for setting such an amazing challenge, and we will be following your developments online and supporting you every step of the way.
